Ideal solution for semi-automatic coiling of tubings
The Windy helps to coil tubing sets manually. It helps coiled products of consistent shapes and sizes, compared to hand-coiling, which can vary from product to product. It works on tubing sets such as IVs, catheters, and more. Tecnoideal designed the Windy to boost production efficiency and produce reliable, consistent results.
Coiling Process
A photosensor located in Windy’s rotating plate detects the removal of coiled sets and then keeps a real-time count of completed products per batch. Upon removal of finished products, Windy automatically rotates to return to the starting position. The provided foot switch accessory allows the operator to control the revolutions per minute (RPM). Operators can use the adjustable clutch to avoid excessive pulling on the plastic tubing.
Settings
The Windy has multiple configuration options that will fit your unique products’ needs. Operators can:
- Adjust the machine’s four poles to achieve round or elliptical shapes
- Set the internal diameter, choosing from 80mm to 260mm.
The Windy can be operated by hand or using the provided Foot Switch. The Windy displays pre-set operating parameters throughout the production process.
Operation of the cutting system
- Programming of speed and winding direction
- Adjustable friction to avoid excessive stretching of the tubes. The clutch can be easily adjusted by hand without using any tools
- STOP speed in “PROG2”: from 21 to 210 RPM (no-load) programmable and adjustable from 10% to 100%
- Winding speed: from 21 to 210 RPM (no-load) programmable and adjustable from 10% to 100%
- “PROG1” deceleration rate: programmable from 25% to 50%
- Piece counter
- “PROG1”: step-by-step
- “PROG2”: programmable from 2 to 32000 pieces
- The direction of rotation: programmable clockwise and anticlockwise
