A versatile cutting machine that can easily be integrated into medical tubing operations
TECNOcut 1.6 is a robust cutting machine that processes plastic tubing from reels measuring diameters between 2mm to 25mm.
It produces cut tubings with great accuracy and quality. It has several features to ensure the best cutting results. Two of them are the unreeling unit and pulling unit, intended to prevent the plastic tubing from being stretched when dispensed from the uncoiler section – stretched tubing could lead to inaccurate cut-length. And the alcohol-based blade wetting system ensures accurate cuts by reducing the stickiness of some plastics.
When setting the production parameters, supervisors can program the length and batch size. They can also choose between a single length or multiple-length mode.
The sizeable resident memory can store numerous different production settings to save time when switching between cycles.
During production, the TECNOcut keeps track of the actual number of cut tubings. It can display both the machine’s latest productivity (based on the last ten cut tubings) and average productivity per hour (based on the production lot). All production data is available via USB drive.
The TECNOcut 1.6 includes an adjustable motor acceleration/deceleration ramp that can be set to one of the three-level options to meet the desired cutting and productivity requirements.
The machine can reach a maximum tubing line speed of 75 meters per minute and a cutting speed of 300 cuts per minute.
This machine is controlled via PLC and includes diagnostic and safety systems. It also features a connection functionality for remote technical support.
The TECNOcut 1.6 is a high-quality, oil-free pneumatic machine that features an advanced technical construction that makes it suitable for cleanrooms.
The TECNOcut comes with one kit of cutting bushings and five blades.
Manufacturers can pair the TECNOcut 1.6 with a Discharge Conveyor to support high-volume production.
