Tecnoideal’s P-Test One and P-Test Nine are used to perform leak testing and Obstruction testing. These testing tools do well on various medical devices such as blood lines, infusion and transfusion sets, bags, filters, and oxygenators.
The machine is great for validation and qualification purposes in Quality Assurance and R&D departments and on Production floors for routine testing of finished products.
The P-Test One and P-Test Nine can store up to 10 test programs. These programs are password protected by alphanumeric codes.
Operative interface and technical features for the P-Test series One and Nine are easy to use. Each device possesses a wide LCD, backlit, alphanumeric graphic display with contrast adjustment and a user-friendly keyboard.
Supervisors can choose from a wide range of pressures and cycle times when setting each program’s operational conditions. The machine’s range of test pressure is 50-9000 hPa/mBar. It records metrics for each program, including the number of tests executed, the pass/fail rate, and the tests’ date and time.
The P-Test series can also perform single (P-Test Nine) or multiple (P-Test One) obstruction testings. the tool detects an obstruction by blowing air through the device to be evaluated and measuring the pressure at the inlet point. The P-Test then determines the condition of partial or total obstruction.
It is possible to set the P-Test’s obstruction testing to function automatically. This feature allows the operator to avoid pushing the start button when continuously testing devices. Furthermore, P-Test One can act as a Pressure Monitor.
Lastly, P-Test features a Self Test Procedure that allows operators to check if the device systems function correctly.
The P-Test One or P-Test Nine arrives pre-calibrated and with a Calibration Certificate. It will display the last calibration date each time it starts. All models include on-screen directions to help with an on-site calibration where needed. Also, you can leverage Tecnoideal America Calibration Services.
Medical device manufacturers can pair the P-Test One and Nine with optional value-add accessories, such as the 6-Way Sequencer, Bag Holder, Data Recorder, Remote Control, and Foot Switch.
