Robust assembly solution for medium-volume production of coiled tubings
The CCB cuts plastic tubing from reels, then coils, and bands it with cohesive tape. It is capable of processing tubing with diameters ranging from 2.5mm to 6mm.
The machine’s settings include the tubing length, coiling dimensions, number of coil turns, position and size of tubing ends, length of cohesive tape, and mode of tape application.
The CCB can reach a maximum speed of 600 pieces per hour. An acoustic signal sounds when the machine reaches the preset batch quantity. All finished products are automatically discharged into the collection bin.The machine is controlled via PLC and includes diagnostic and safety systems. The door which houses the cutting system locks during production to prevent operator injury. Alarms will also sound when the machine runs out of tubing or reaches the preset limit of out-of-spec products.
The CCB machine settings are password protected. And its resident memory is capable of storing 30 different programs. In addition, the CCB features a connection functionality for remote technical support.
